BL: Bootloader , EXP Processor Protocol Reference¶
Understanding EXP board addressing
This command is used with FAST Expansion and FAST breakout boards via a FAST Serial Protocol (FSP) connection to the EXP Bus. Please read the EXP Overview to understand the operation of these commands and addresses.
The BL:
command is used to reset the board and launch the bootloader in preparation for a code update.
The BL:
command requires a confirmation code as an argument, BL:AA55
. If the command was successful the board will immediately restart in the bootloader and normal commands will be invalid until the regular board power on timeout has been reached. If you use an address that is not active on your EXP Bus, then there will be no response.
